Henry G20 is a digital theatre project about protest and civil liberties.

Conceived and directed by Christine Brubaker and co-written by Brubaker and Constantine X. Anastasakis, Henry G20 freely adapts Shakespeare’s Henry V in a contemporary retelling of the G20 protests in Toronto in June 2010.

Listen to an episodic audio drama and activate augmented reality scenes through your phone by displaying the posters at www.henryg20.com/posters on a second screen.

Henry G20 was first presented as part of the Michael Langham Workshop for Classical Direction at the Stratford Festival in 2014.
The Henry G20 mobile app was co-commissioned and premiered in association with Luminato Festival Toronto and The Bentway Conservancy in 2021, and featured in World Stage Design Scenofest 2022.
